API VERIFACTU

What is VeriFactu and how does it work?

Learn what VeriFactu is, how billing records are sent to the Spanish Tax Agency and what to prepare before integrating your invoicing software.

VeriFactu is the mode of invoicing software that submits invoicing records to Spain’s tax agency. A record contains invoice data; it is not simply an uploaded PDF.

What changes in your application

Your software continues to issue invoices. The integration prepares data, requests record creation and retains a reference to track submission results. Plan for new records, corrections, rectifying invoices and intermediate statuses.

A private API and AEAT services

API VeriFactu is a Servoweb service connecting your ERP, CRM or SaaS. It is not an official AEAT service. Our JSON interface and the tax agency’s technical specifications are separate layers of integration.

Design a traceable workflow

  1. Give each invoice a stable internal identifier.
  2. Store the queue identifier returned by the API.
  3. Query results and record status changes.
  4. Show issues requiring review to the user.

Before going live

Check the scope of RRSIF, certificates, the responsible declaration and software producer obligations. An API does not replace correct configuration and operation of your software. VeriFactu and B2B electronic invoicing address different requirements; do not treat them as the same project.
